Common sizes

1920 px wide suits full-screen web banners and Full HD screens. 1280 px works well for blog photos, and 800 px is a good size for email and chat. Use the quick width buttons to jump to them, and keep aspect ratio on so nothing looks stretched.

Questions

Does resizing reduce the quality of my image?

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp because TinyPic scales it down in several careful steps. Making it larger cannot add detail that was never there, so enlarged images look softer.

What does keep aspect ratio mean?

It links width and height so the picture is never stretched. Change one number and the other updates to match the original proportions.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. The image is resized by your own browser, so it never leaves your device.

Which formats can I resize?

You can open JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and SVG files, then save the result as JPG, PNG or WebP. Animated GIFs are saved as a single still frame.
